Vision and Mission

The vision of DOS is “To be an inclusive Odia community in the Dallas Fort-Worth metropolitan area where society members cooperate and collaborate to promote and celebrate Odia culture & tradition, to build a reliable support system for the members in the community and to provide an experience of ‘Home away from Home’ to its members”. 

The mission of DOS is “To promote and preserve Odia culture, language, heritage, and values among Odia people and the wider community. Dallas Odia Society aims to foster unity and cooperation among Odias and to create a sense of belonging and identity. 

Our purpose is to focus on providing social, cultural, educational, and charitable services to our members and the community at large
